A hell of a game

Hey guys,

I bought Bulletstorm a few days ago and finished the singleplayer campaign. It's one of the greatest shooters i've ever played. It's pure fun. The new kill with skill feature is amazing. It's fun to use the leash and kick the enemies and shoot 'em while in slow motion.

And then there is the blood symphony: with one kick you kill enemies or you can kill 'em with style     -> damn there is so much blood!

The K.I. is pretty good for a shooter. The enemies are looking for hiding places.

The graphic is very nice - the game is using the Unreal Engine.

The game is a mix of Unreal (Tournament) and Painkiller.

The multiplayer mode is a little different. there is no team deathmatch or something. You can play with up to 4 human players against computer enemies. The round starts with Wave 1 and the enemies are easy to kill but in Wave 9 or Wave 10 it's pretty hard (i never finished Wave 10 so far ) With every Wave there are other, bigger enemies - very hard to kill.

The more skill points you have after a round the bigger guns you can buy and more ammo and stuff or you can upgrade your weapons.

You need a good Team to finish those Waves. A "lone wolf" isn't credit to team...

So, when you like shooters - take a look!

Here are some videos i made:

Definately a fantastic game.  I should play it again sometime.

It's more like Gears of War mixed with a shmup, but I agree, it's so much fun.

If they made a sequel where they replaced the Gears influences with Painkiller and added deathmatch it would be the best thing ever, though.

Started playing it and I wasn't all into it at first.  Gave it a couple week break.  Broke it out again this evening and I've been having a blast.  Not sure if I'll get into MP or not (prob not), but the campaign and dialog has been entertaining.  He named his godzilla robot and started singing a song about how he was killing everyone with it.  heh.

I also enjoyed it. Some of the skill-shots were too much of a pain in the behind to puff off, but on the whole it was a great game.

And by 'sometime' I mean 'now.'

Graphics/animation are definitely very well done.  It has a great feel with the electic leash/whip thing.

Unfortunately, any FPS style game that doesn't allow me to jump, just feels WAY too limited for me.  I don't know why, but I NEED to be able to jump freely (not go up to an object and press 'action' to jump it).

Yeah, I noticed that even during their advertising campaign with the fake Call of Duty game.  When they didn't make fun of the soldier for getting stuck on the 2 foot tall stone wall I had a bad feeling.

Still, most people should at least rent the game to get through the campaign.  Other than gratuitous mention of the word 'dick', and other juvenile moments(which thankfully seem tongue-in-cheek due to the overall feel of the game), Bulletstorm is a fun ride overall from start to finish.

I have to agree with you. Well, in the multiplayer part there is no need to jump but in the singleplayer campaign it would be better.

Yesterday i finished the 10th wave in multiplayer but the 11th is damn hard. my team and i tried it 5 times but we fail

(btw, the quote button is not working...)
